Who is Christopher Penczak?

Christopher Penczak is an eclectic witch, writer, and healing practitioner. His practice draws upon the foundation of modern Witchcraft blended with the wisdom of mystical traditions from across the globe.

How do I make reservations?

Friday evening's event (Shamanic Witchcraft: A Walk Between the Worlds) is at the South Valley Unitarian Universalist Church and is free (donations gladly accepted). The church holds about 230 people. Reservations are welcomed by calling 801-561-0954 or emailing annastesia926@comcast.net.

Saturday morning's event (Shamanic Witchcraft: Dream Magick) is at the Shilo Inn and costs $10. Space is limited to 100 people. Tickets are available by calling 801-561-0954 or emailing annastesia926@comcast.net. Checks can be made out to Rainbow Chalice CUUPs.

Who is hosting Christopher?

Flights, hotel rooms, conference rooms, workshops, book signings and advertisings have all been arranged by the South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society's CUUPs (Covenenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans). Our charter is to bring an open heart and willing hands to South Valley's UU congregation, to facilitate heart-centered dialogues with earth-centered spiritual practices, and to offer South Valley and the larger community a variety of speakers, musicians (CUUPs hosted Faerie Elaine Silver in 2005), workshops and rituals.

Why is there a $10 fee for Saturday's Dream Magick workshop?

CUUPs has raised money via three main sources: monthly pancake breakfasts, a booth at Salt Lake City's annual Pagan Pride Day, and generous donations from it's sponsors. Bringing Christopher here has been a lengthy labor of love. The $10 fee will do two things:

• Allow CUUPs to pay Christopher a small gratuity.
• Begin a fund for bringing in the next author, speaker or musician.

Saturday's Dream Magick workshop has an optional $10 lunch. What's available?

The optional lunch will start at noon and is what the Shilo Inn calls a "boxed lunch". It includes a sandwich (Club, Turkey and Swiss, Ham and Cheddar, Chicken Cashew, Western Bacon Burger), or a salad (BBQ Chicken, Cobb, Chef). Both come with chips, a brownie and a variety of sodas or bottled water.
